Meow Patterned Papers - Digital Scrapbooking Freebie

Patterned papers yay!!!!  I don't have a cat at the moment but my youngest daughter has made it her mission to get to the top of her class in reading.  She has struggled with reading for a few years and is currently behind her class.  This year something clicked and she is doing much better so her father told her that if she wants a kitten she needs to come in first in her class.  I don't think it will happen this year but she sure is trying!!  We talked about it a supper one evening and she understands that this is a long term goal and not one she will achieve immediately.
Hope you are all in good health and good spirits out there in the World :)

This is what happens when I try to get all fancy and schedule a post, I forget to add the download link!!!  Sorry everyone, it's all fixed now :)

Meow Bonus Papers - Digital Scrapbooking Freebie

When I was creating this kit I realized that I didn't have enough neutrals in it.  Also the color I chose for the cats themselves seemed to want to be papers as well :)  This "bonus" set of papers is called a bonus because I did something I don't normally do.  I created 12 extra papers but some of them have the same patterns.  They turned out pretty stunning so I am hoping you will love them!!!

Blast Off Elements

Happy Monday World!!  Not much to say right now since the day just started.  It was another gorgeous weekend where I live so we got outside to play baseball as a family.  I got bored and took the dogs for a walk instead lol.  I am not much of a runner so baseball is daunting!!!

I added flowers and other stuff because I like my kits to be multi purpose.  That way even if you don't like or need the space themed items you can still use the kit.

Blast Off Patterned Papers

Just stopping in for a quick sec to give you all the patterned paper links.  Usually I try to avoid my computer on the weekends but today I needed to take a minute to myself so you all get a treat :)

Have a super Saturday!!

Blast Off Journal Cards - Rounded Corner Version

As promised, here are the rounded corner journal cards.  I think I like these better than the square corner ones.  Which do you prefer?

Happy Scrapping from Tracy K. :)

Blast Off Journal Card - Square Corner Version

I created two versions of the journal cards this time.  I think I am finding it easier to create them and "think" differently but I still was not successful at creating a layout using them.  I will keep trying though ha ha.  I will release the square corner ones this morning and probably come back to release the rounded corner ones later on in the day (mostly because I am impatient!!).  Hope you all like them.

Also don't forget to grab the solid papers here and read about how I created this kit.

Have a great day World!!

Blast Off Solid Papers

You can probably guess the theme of this next kit just by reading the name :)  It's space themed and I had so much fun creating it.  I am working on visualizing something and then creating it but it doesn't some naturally to me and for the rockets and planets I needed a little help.  I followed the tutorial here.  As you will see in the kit, I didn't copy exactly but created my own style using the tutorial as a basis for my designs.  I am pleased with the outcome but still don't really feel like it's mine.  For this reason I am releasing this kit as a freebie.  Getting money for it just wouldn't be right!!!

I fell in love with the colors in the tutorial but again, didn't feel right using them.  Instead I chose the colors you see. Doesn't

It's $2 Tuesday at Plain Digital Wrapper

Stop by and check out all the great sales from the PDW designers!!!  This week I have these kits on sale for $2.
http://www.plaindigitalwrapper.com/shoppe/product.php?productid=7962&cat=50&page=2
To get the color scheme for Love You Mom I used a picture of my Mom from the 60's.  She was sitting on the hood of my dad's car and looked so beautiful.  I wish I could share it here but it's on my old computer and I am currently updating it so can't grab the pic.  I also used some art that my late grandfather (my mom's dad) created.  He was quite an excellent artist and I often wish I could talk to him about pattern creation which was his job.  He created patterns for carpets by hand.  No computers in his day, although I suspect that around the time he retired they were switching over to computer generated patterns.  As a teenager I received one of his carpets as a gift but I ruined it when I first moved out.  At the time he was still alive and I didn't think much of it.  I now wish I had been more careful and could display the carpet in my home and show my kids what their great grand father created.  The carelessness of youth does sometimes come back to haunt us.

While I have you here, check out these super $2 Tuesday offerings from Southern Creek Designs

She has lots more on sale but these caught my eye.  I think I may beg her for the CU So Complicated 7 ha ha!

Have a great day everyone.  My new kit is making me happy and I will have it ready to share soon :)

Peek the Raccoon - Elements

Happy Monday World!!!  I sometimes love Mondays and sometimes hate them.  This morning I a ok with it being Monday because it means I get to sit down at my computer and create stuff.  I am also taking some online courses on Udemy to see how I like them.  There are a lot of free ones to choose from.

Hope you all love the elements :)

Enjoy and remember that you can always send me a copy of anything you create with my kits.  I will gladly show them off in my posts.  Eventually I hope to have a public gallery but at the moment you can just leave a link or .jpg in your comments.  I would love to do a weekly roundup of things created with my kits but I need enough things to feature before I can do that :)

Peek the Raccoon - Patterned Papers

I got the patterned papers uploaded, yay!!!  So that means you get to download them and start loving them as much as I do.  I also found the time for a Sadie layout.  She is growing so fast, in some ways it makes me sad and in others I can't wait for her to outgrow puppy habits.

She still runs away from her leash when we go for walks, which makes me sad.  She seems fine once we are out of the house, she just doesn't like the leaving part.  I think this is a natural puppy instinct.  Not wanting to leave the safety of the home but I will be very happy once she in confident enough to love walks as much as Coda does.

Here are the patterned papers for you to enjoy.

Hope your weekend started of amazing and keeps on going that way :)

Peek the Raccoon - Journal Cards!!!

I couldn't resist releasing the journal cards today because I don't make them often and I'm curious how well they will be received.  Personally I have no idea how to use them well but I know the scrapbooking world is all a buzz with them.  Project Life?  I have heard and browsed and admired but whenever I sit down to scrap in that manner I can't seem to do it.  My inner artist comes out and I can't keep myself in little boxes ha ha.  Don't worry I know it's not all about little boxes, that's just how my brain sees it.

Here they are, please leave me a note if you like them :)

Have a super weekend everyone :)

Peek the Raccoon - Solid Papers

I have a new kit on my hard drive just waiting for you to love it :)  It features Peek the Raccoon, a little guy I created.  He's a bit chubby and I think he's cute.  My kids said he looked like a raccoon but who knows ha ha, maybe you will disagree.  Today I am releasing the solid papers so you will get a sense of the colors in the kit.  I love how the texture on these papers turned out.  They are some of my favorites so far.

I hope you enjoy them and enjoy your weekend as well :)

You Can Too Alphas - Finally!!!

Sorry for the down time folks.  Sometimes life has plans that don't quite coincide with your own ha ha.  After the bill was all paid up it took quite a few days for the next problem to be fixed.  Let me tell you that the customer service at the hosting company I use was much better when I had my Urban Dragon Digital Art website and blog.  That was about 7 years ago and since then the hosting company has grown and with that growth they seem to have lost quick and clean customer service.  The guys I talked too didn't even believe there was a problem for the first few emails until finally my hubby sent a screen shot.

It's all fixed now though so yay!!  I have been slowly working on your next free kit and will probably put the solids up later on today but I thought everyone deserved the alphas for You Can Too :)

Have a super day everyone :)

Technical Difficulties :)

As some of you may have noticed, my links are not working.  This is because I was late renewing the domain that they are stored on.  Then when I did renew it something went wrong and I can't get into cPanel.  So I am patiently waiting for support to get back to me and manually reset my cPanel password.  Hopefully sometime today I will have something new for you but if not today they check back tomorrow.

While you are waiting, here is a picture of my older dog Coda.  She is 12 and we have had her since she was 2 weeks old.  My daughter and I bottle fed her and bathed her after each feeding for a few weeks until she was big enough to eat on her own.  Since her eyes weren't even open when we got her, I am literally the only mother she has ever seen.  She is my best friend in every way that a dog can be and my most loyal friend (other than my hubby!!!) as well.

Have a great day and cross you fingers that the links are fixed as soon as possible :)
