Dream a Dream - Free!

Another oldie but goodie.  I love the colors in this kit.  I remember creating the flowers and loving the crumpled papers but not much else.  I do have some old layouts that I did with this one though :)
The first one is my youngest when she was about a year old, she's 10 now.
The second is my oldest at 8 and my second oldest at 2.  They were so little!!  They are 20 (almost 21) and 15 now!!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and will enjoy another free kit :)

The next ROK to be set free - A Happy Place

I remember being charmed by the kitten with the flowers and creating the whole kit around that image.  I'm not sure why I called it A Happy Place but I guess it made me happy.  The colors sure are bright.  I find it strange to see how much I have progressed in my designs since I created this kit in 2008.  My papers are so much different now and I add a lot more elements to my kits.  One of the things I am seeing as I pull out Really Old Kits is that I didn't add as many elements but did create many of the same elements in every color.  I still like to do that for certain things like tags or labels but generally my new designs have different flowers, buttons and frames.

Anyhow here is A Happy Place.  I hope you can use it to make yourself happy too :)

I hope you are all having A Happy Saturday!!!

I set them FREE!

This week I was looking around the area where my desk is (stuck in a corner of the basement) and spotted an old CD case.  For years I have been burning my kits to CD's to get them off my hard drive and free up space.  I hadn't looked at these CD's for years because my old computer decided it was going to break and I had no CDROM to read them.  Sadly my last 200 or so kits were deleted from the hard drive because of this, instead of being saved :(

After looking at them and admiring how my designs have both changed and stayed the same I decided they needed to be set free.  I didn't change them at all, just updated the preview because sadly some of my old stores are no longer open.  Times are tough all around and I hope I can brighten your life by adding some freebies!!

Here is your first Really Old Kit Freebie.

I hope you will like our trips back in time.  This kit is from 2008 and I sold it at the now extinct SBE or Scrapbook-Elements.  I loved being in that store and really wish that I had never left.  At the time my kids were young and I decided to cut down on my designing to focus on family but looking back it was a mistake.  I think I ended up more anxious and I really have never made the same money again that I made in that amazing store.  I wish it was still around.

Slice of Summer and another freebie!

Happy Friday Everyone!  Slice of Summer is now available here.
and the journal cards are available here

Both the squared corner and rounded corner are in the same pack.

Today I have a freebie that matches my In the Deep Again Page Kit.  The In the Deep and In the Deep Again sets are so calming and really have been fun to create.  I can't seem to stop going back to them!

The freebie is a set of abstract papers (yes, I am obsessed with all things abstract lately!!!) and I hope you like them :)  I have also been playing around with a new preview and can't decide if I should go with the birch looking or the plain.  I think the birch looks nicer but the plain shows the title of the kit better.  Do you have any thoughts on this?

I forgot to split this into two downloads for slower connections so if anyone has trouble just leave me a comment and I will fix it.

Happy Weekend Everyone :)

Sneak Peek and Freebie

This week I have a kit called Slice of Summer debuting at PDW.  Friday it will be in my store here.

Lots of summery and golden elements and lots of fun watercolor elements and papers.  The doodles were created by me and scanned then turned into papers so they do have that hand drawn look.  And how about that watercolor look?  I know I am loving it right now and constantly on the lookout for watercolor items.  The journals come with both a square corner and a rounded corner so you can use whichever ones you love.

Slice of Summer

and now for the freebie!

The freebie is a set of 12 abstract papers based on the patterned papers.  I hope you think they are as fun as I do :)
